When we moved here I took several peony plants from the the other house and tucked them into our front yard. They have grown and provide such lovely fragrance each spring.
Where we used to live, it was on a corner lot and all along the road there was a hedge of peonies. The scent was heavenly. (Here is Jacob back in 1990, enjoying the flowers)
