Goodwill yielded some nice finds yesterday. The pair of silk cushions are brand new. I loved the bright green with dark brown and blue stitching detail.
The parasol is a small one, only 18 inches across. The floral stems are vintage too. You can tell by the stems on them, cloth wrapped, not plastic.
This plaster figure is inscribed Nanette on the base. She's a real sweetie. It was Joshua however who noticed the hairline crack at her neck (after I got her home). I had carefully given her a good once-over before buying her but that certainly wasn't an obvious flaw. She is good and secure though.
This was under a pile of ordinary stuff in the glass case by the cash. You just never know what you will find there!
It is marked Copeland, Late Spode and made in England for a store or company in Montreal. I loved the delicate ribbon swags and lovely baskets.

You certainly found some cool stuff today. The pattern on the Spode is so understated and delicate. The little parasol is lot of fun. Makes you wonder how it got to Brockville.
