Even the scarecrow can rest until a new spring brings fresh growth and crops to protect.
The ground is covered with colourful leaves and each morning is crisp while the darkness comes sooner at the end of the day. Time to get out the kettle for cocoa and fill the wood box with wood for the fire.
Can you tell it has been gray, damp and drizzly for the last six days?
A special thank you to new visitors to the Milkhouse Gallery and for recent mail orders too. Much appreciated.
