From what I can find this appears to be an Oriole nest. Amazing workmanship.
It is wrapped and woven onto little green branches. It will rock gently in the wind but not fall off.
The deep cavity inside secures the eggs/young all snug and cozy.Hope your week gets off to a good start.

Looks like a sweet place to grow up. Imagine those cool evening breezes on a hot night. Maybe they should make those for adults. Hey wait a second...I think those birds invented the (deep) hammock!
Lovely nest. What's on the outside of it? Looks like fibers or plant down.
What an amazing structure, I have not seen a nest like that before.
