Snow!
I guess it was too soon to take out the BBQ.
This granular pellet type of snow is called graupel. It looks pretty hanging onto a spider web. I would think that the spiders weren't too impressed. While out taking pictures I saw a pilated woodpecker in the front yard too. It didn't seem bothered by the snow.

I just learned the other day that it's called graupel. In our family, we call it detergent snow as it's the texture of old-fashioned detergent.
