Here it is. the first blush of change in the trees in our yard. Autumn has arrived. I love the crisp mornings, the good sleep that comes from days spent outside, the changing colours. All of it! I only wish it lasted longer before we are plunged into the cold, short days of winter.

I have been watching the trees changing colours as I walk around Ottawa. As you say, a definite sign of things to come. But the weather has been so wonderfully (and unseasonably) warm lately, that maybe the cold won't be here for a while (we can only hope). Great photo.
Happy Autumn! I too look forward to it and hope we don't go right from Summer into Winter, which is what happens all too often. It had started getting nice and brisk a few weeks ago, and it felt so good. But it's gone back to hot and humid here for the past couple of weeks. I am looking forward to soup and hot chocolate and ponchos, scarves, and gloves - Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Thanks for joining my giveaway and good luck to you!!
