Getting Creative

With the lovely Midori ribbons displayed safely I needed a way to let folks actually see and touch them so I made a ribbon sampler out of an old photograph.
I also made up these little gift bags out of a bunch of old Nine Patch (hand stitched) quilt squares. I attached the ribbon on with an old vegetable ivory button and made the tags out of ledger paper and card stock. I stuffed two of them as samples but packaged the rest. In my typical O.C.D. fashion I didn't stop until I used up all the squares and made almost forty of them. Suffice it to say, I will not need to revisit this project for a while. Now on the the art journal round robin...
