How Does Your Garden Grow?

I've been spending more time outside, as I'm sure many of you are. This is a particularly fine spring. The best to my recollection, in many years. Every day has been fresh and breezy and even the warmer ones have been void of humidity. My kind of weather!
Things are really coming to life now and the seeds I had planted are beginning to show too.
This morning Meaghan and I headed out early to find a few yard sales and we were not disappointed. They were talking of rain all week for this long weekend, however, it held off until late in the day. I bought a large bag of lady's scarves for a dollar and was happy to discover and lovely pile of old hankies and gloves in there too. This woman must have traveled a great deal as there were a good number of souvenir scarves from all over the world. I found some old buttons, vintage cookbooks, an old sign-makers kit, a lovely perennial grass, old wooden boxes that will make great assemblage containers, etc. We even came back with some lovely homemade squares that someone made for a fund raiser!
