Mother's Day Shots

I saw these neat globes made from old barrel rings years ago and wanted one but they were too expensive. Not too long ago I found a pile of them at a yard sale, for free. Now I have my own. Marty welded them up for me. They are actually scattered about the property, looking like strange tumbleweeds.
I have had these two iron chairs for so many years. This spring they got a fresh coat of paint and Marty bought me the two pots of Pansies to sit in them. They sit outside the Milkhouse.
Our little vegetable garden began as four quadrants of raised beds. Last year we added two more. Jacob and Joshua finally finished up the stone paths that go between them this weekend. The strange get-up at the back of the tractor is Joshua's solution to the unusual quiet the outside provides. It looks menacing but they are not allowed to play their music too loudly. I personally much prefer to sound of the birds and frogs, the wind in the trees, etc.
Meaghan cut out the rest of the letters for our signs. This is a wooden ironing board I found at the side of the road and painted up to "welcome" folks to the shop. The letters are not attached here. Just laid on the board. The other sign is for "Little Acorns and Mighty Oaks" the registered name of the business. I'll take a picture of it when it is all finished. It will hang above the garage/workshop door. So many little jobs to do and so little time, as always.
