Quiet Days Are A Blessing

I have had so many little things I've wanted to take care of haven't had much time for them. I am finally making a little headway and am feeling better about the whole "holiday" thing.

My mom has been sending me boxes of little treasures she is clearing out that she thinks I might be inspired by. I got a kick out of the "Notion Charms" above as they suggest you stitch them to your hankys or the bottom of your skirt, etc. No mention of whether you can launder them. Imagine if you actually needed to use your hanky?
In one her boxes was this beautiful small fan. She has a booth in the Waterloo Antiques Market. Should you be in the area, it is well worth the trip. It's a great place to explore! Her's in the booth with all the antique dolls among other things. There are some real bargains to be had.

Below is a listing I got from Google:

"Also in St. Jacobs, is the Waterloo County Antiques Warehouse
with over 15,000 sq ft of antiques and collectable as displayed by over 80 dealers. The vendors are constantly bringing in new merchandise. Depression glass, toys, dolls, porcelain, pottery and nostalgia are but a few of the categories you will find.
  • Location - 805 King Street North, next to the St. Jacobs Market Telephone: 1-888-843-9929
  • Hours - 10am-6pm, 7 days/week"
