Mary Green's Gluebook Workshop

I have never signed up for an on-line workshop before. However, Mary Green's Gluebook class appealed to me for several reasons. She provided the images to get started. All you needed was scissors and a glue stick. And all you had to do was assemble those images to create pleasant little collages in a blank book. Nothing more. Just cut and paste.
I chose the three pack of Moleskine sketchbooks with red covers, in the 5x8 size.
At first I thought I would never get a chance to even begin. Life gets so busy and then you just get tired.
This past week I had the opportunity to get started and it was very relaxing, just cutting and pasting.
I like to keep my pages simple and hopefully pleasing.
Each week there are new posts to encourage you along and give you something to think about, whether it be composition or gathering your own vintage images.
You get extra images each week too. You don't need to sign up for a class to glue pictures onto pages, but it was just the impetus I needed to have a little "no strings attached," "no deadlines" creative fun. Like being in Kindergarten again but with better supplies.
