Windy Snow Day

I took this picture with the flash on. Oops. Very windy and cold and snowy today.
Can you see the barn across the street? Joshua had cleared a path from the house to the mail box at the road. That's gone now.
This a little touch of spring inside. Daisies from hubby and Roses from a dear friend who came for lunch yesterday. The timing was good for that one!

We had creamy cauliflower soup, biscuits and a little cheese sampler. Dessert was something called Eton Mess. Meringues crushed into a mixture of sugar syrup, whipped heavy cream and creme fraiche, then you fold in raspberry coulis and lemon curd. Yummy. Sorry, no pictures. I was too busy getting everything just so that I never even thought of it.
