Golden Moment

When I came downstairs to put the dogs out this morning, around 7:30AM I found the kitchen filled with a deep golden light. Needless to say, I headed outside, leaving behind two very confused dogs, to check it out. The yard was a combination of dark gray and fiery gold.


The tops of the trees were lit up.

All those yellow maple leaves just glowed.


And then, in just a few minutes it was over. The sun was up, tucked behind the gray clouds. Then I put the dogs out.
