I thought I was finished with the lace after I had finished covering my heart shaped chocolate box. 
Nope, it needed some thing more. I was going to stitch on little clusters of antique buttons but changed my mind.
I started with scraps of lace, basted one edge and pulled tight. A little fiddling and I coaxed them into lovely lacy flowers. Nice, but not complete. Drop by tomorrow to see it all finished, just in time for Valentine's Day.
