That lovely, tidy work space is a memory again. I've spent the last couple weeks assembling a couple small scrapbooks for two special people. My youngest and his beloved are now separated by many miles after enjoying weekly visits and outings for months. Such is the life of a student.
So, I took a bunch of photos they had taken, had them printed up, and made a little book for her. It was fun creating something decidedly feminine.
For him, I used one of my own journals made from an old hardcover record cover (45RPM) and watercolour paper. It has a more steam punk-y feel to it.
It was a fun project and they are both very happy with the results. It wont make them miss each other nay less but these journals do capture some of the special moments over the last year.
