Sparkle in Surprising Places

 I found this lovely little aluminum tree at Goodwill a couple years ago.  Last year it sat on one of the window sills in the kitchen, catching the morning light.

This year I thought it would fill an empty spot in the servant's stairway.  When a wall was erected to form the closet in our room- not by us but long before we ever got here- there was a little spot of floor left above the second set of stairs which head down to the kitchen.  The perfect spot for a wee bit of sparkle.
