Snow Days, Valentine's Day, And A Giveaway For You

Friday brought a big snowstorm, from the east.  They even closed the 401 highway due to so many accidents.  It was a good day to stay inside.

                                                There were some lovely shadows.

                                                             Lots of drifts.

It was a good day to spend in the kitchen, baking up little love.

I packaged up the little cookies in boxes for the guys to nibble on during the week.

I dug out my vintage Valentines and set out the lovely Victorian 3D one.

And now for the giveaway.  Jo Packham is offering two copies of her "Where Women Create, Book of Organization" to two of my lovely blog readers, so do leave a comment here and on Valentine's Day I will draw two lucky winners.

Oh I think you got more snow your way than we did here but it was enough to keep me indoors. Your book giveaway looks awesome, I would love to be included in it. Thanks Jennifer.

Meters of snow and biscuits, what else would you want?! Here in London, it's all slushy :(

We got snow, but people went out in it. Weird.... Love the Love cookies. And antique Valentine's - just love them.

Good grief it's spring in south central Texas! We need the rain but we need a little cooler weather for a little while longer. I just moved and would LOVE that book on organization. Thanks for the chance.

I really like the swirly drift near the moose and the shadow of the chair.

The cookies are pretty.Did you dye the dough with food coloring before baking? I know some boys who will like them. I will try my hand at them tomorrow. I always bake cupcakes with cinnamon hearts too. Happy Valentine's Day.
