Recently I put together a little assemblage. Lots of layers and textures. Some 1860's newspaper, millinery gauze, linen, wool, burlap, and hammered bark from Africa.
I just love this guipure lace piece. So very detailed and such a lovely shape. It still has its original price tag. It was fun digging through my stash of buttons to find these two pale flower-shaped pieces.
Just waiting to be tucked into a shadowbox. So, how is your week going? It's pretty springlike out there today. Rain, rain, rain.
