It's been another busy week with one thing and another. In between we got the tree up. It helps having a tall son to do the lights.
Then it's time to decorate it. Marty really wanted the traditional tree back up this year, with all the traditional ornaments. It's been a few years since we have used it so it was nice to be reacquainted with the dear old ornaments.
I truly appreciate the lights in the evening at the end of a long day.
A little Mary Engelbreit advent calendar tree in a guest room.
The tall skinny tree, found at the side of the road years ago looked lonely in the basement so I put it up too. It still tucks nicely in the corner. The living room feels more like a little wooded courtyard now!
Not so traditional, I know.
The little kitchen tree sits on the window sill filled with ornaments created by dear friends. Lots of memories attached to each piece on the tree. I hope that your holiday plans are allowing some time to step back and enjoy the fruits of your labours.

Very lovely, Jennifer! Thanks for sharing your decor with us....and a pic of your handsome son!
And I thought I was the one living in a forest! The trees all look wonderful- so sparkly and bright.
