A few recent finds that conjure thoughts of a warmer season, full of colour. A lovely wreath with paper flowers, which will be replacing the more wintry welcome on our back door; a hand painted silk scarf, a painted glass hanging with a Bible verse and hand painted tulip, a 1971 reprint of a 1927 Eaton's catalogue. More colourful tulips on the cover!
A couple of sweet little birds to add to my collection.
Doesn't this just make you want to get out there and bury some bulbs in the dirt?
A more subdued palette of sepia tones in an old print, a cosy mohair scarf from Scotland and parts of a lady's celluloid dresser set.
This sweet porcelain piece was made in Hungary.
