Easter Snow, Winter in Spring

 Over Easter weekend we got a little snow here and there. Yesterday we got snow late afternoon and all evening long. Lovely, isn't it?

 I was surprised to find it hadn't gone anywhere when I woke up this morning! Still lovely, but for April?

 I opened up the coop and only a couple of hens ventured forth. Alone in a white wasteland.

                                   Wondering where all the best scratching areas went.

 By afternoon things had melted quite a bit and everyone was out and about, enjoying the sun and the dirt.
