I could hear the rustling in the wood stove but could not see the bird. Eventually the little fellow found its way into the box and I was able to retrieve him. A little dusty, but after some water and being set outside, it was gone. I hope it finds a better place to roost than our chimney from now on.

Hopefully he is wiser now and won't go into chimneys. Always special, though, to get up close to a wild bird.
