A friend came over for a visit and to enjoy some early Valentine's treats and crafting. It was a fun excuse to pull out some of my vintage Valentine goodies, collected over many years. I made the heart above a while back by adding antique and vintage lace and making flowers from more vintage trimmings.
These are some of the antique Valentine's cards my mom had collected.
The small wall shelves at the end of the dining room are perfect for seasonal decorations.
The other shelf and you can see the chip clip holding more vintage and antique Valentine cards.
These cards are all from a husband to his wife, from an old scrapbook I got long ago.
All ready for crafting, and snacking.
So, I couldn't decide on what to do exactly so brought out a variety of things to choose from.
Thankfully, in spite of all our fun chatter, we actually made something! Wee shadowboxes featuring vintage Valentine cards and other embellishments. A fine afternoon was enjoyed by all two of us!
