This is the finished counter. I love it! My guy sure can work some serious magic with wood (er, wooden doors that is.) The top is part of a piece of slate we got from someone who just wanted it out of his garage. This is only half of it. The bin on the corner of the counter holds Scrabble pieces, little cowboys and army men, funky Christmas bulbs and wooden chess pieces. The tall black thing on the left is a wonderful way to display cards and other things that can be hung from the little clips.

And the linen corner. We open on Saturday October 13. So much left to do. Must get to work!
