It's COLD Outside

This is the background for my business card. I don't think I ever posted it. Being literally a "cut and paste" kind of girl, I started with a large playing card, added the elements and then reduced it. Once it was scanned the boys helped me add the necessary info to the front and voila! a business card. Yeah, that's me a million years ago.
Today is the first of December and we can officially put up the tree. Well, it's up, just not dressed yet. So here is a shot of the sideboard Marty built for me years ago. It was the last piece for the dining room. First was a corner cupboard and then a harvest table. (We actually sold an old dining set I had bought and ate off of a door resting on two sets of chair arms, until we had the money to buy the wood and necessary tools to proceed. Then the Good Lord provided a nearby yard sale with a large shed filled with hardwood and some needed equipment. There was no looking back!)
Marty loves his Christmas village and these little cardboard pieces appeal to my vintage taste.
Off to complete dinner. Stay warm and add a little sparkle to you day.

Love Marty's Christmas villages. I'm into nativity sets myself and can't wait to get them out.
P.S. Great business card. You look like a little angel.
