Spring Cleaning and Great? Finds

Imagine my surprise finding these at the local Goodwill! The chemical bottles must have all come from one place. All but the largest and one smaller one have glass stoppers. They are so cool, I've been racking my brain to come up with something really neat to do with them. The glass jelly mold and rolling pin are yard sale finds.
While Meaghan and I were hauling items out of the basement for our yard sale this Saturday, I came across a box labeled "canning jars" and opened it up expecting just that. I was very shocked to find four large jars of my canned apple pie filling- from four years ago! I guess the movers didn't think it was important to mention the presence of food. Needless to say, they have seen better days.
Here is another cool find. It is an old lamp base. Perhaps from an old oil lamp? The detail of the metal base is lovely and if you put a tea light inside, it glows beautifully. It's heading for the shop.

You hit a great jackpot! What a wonderful collection of bottles! You are so creative that I know there will be one morning when you awake and you'll know exactly what to do!

I have about five of the glass jelly molds from England - oval and round. A couple of them holds my antique button collection and the smaller round one holds game pieces.

LOVE those bottles! A couple weeks ago at my Goodwill, I found FOUR boxes of old bottles and a few old tins - about 90 total - and the cashier gave them ALL to me for $3.75. I totally understand your bottle love!

As soon as I saw these bottles I immediately thought of Len (Cowgill)'s Bottled people:
