Joshua brought these two nests home from Canadian Tire after they were vacated. The one on the right is the one that was built right in plain view in a main traffic area.
This nest has been on top of our flood lights for a couple of seasons and I guess the Robin felt it would be fine to recycle it. This is the last of the four birds to fly away. I'll bet this young fellow is enjoying the less-crowded accommodations.
The Sparrows I spoke of earlier, who built a second nest further down the garland, have quite a brood in progress!
