Although the first day of summer was last week, this weekend marks the beginning of the summer break for many. With the long weekend and school finished it's time to plan ahead for day trips and vacations.
The cottage is my all-time favourite place to go. It's been a number of years since we were able to get away, but I still often go back there in my mind. I hope everyone out there gets a chance to dangle their feet off the dock and dip their toes in the lake water, even if just for a moment.
