Wooden Toys

My guys are rather long into young adulthood now, however I am still taken with brightly coloured wooden toys for youngsters. Many years ago, my mom took it upon herself to provide the boys with new pieces for their Brio train set over the years. They loved it and it was a wonderful thing for them to play with when there were visitors. Plenty of pieces and interesting bits to go around! We still have the train set and occasionally I come across a piece here or there and add to it. We do have friends with much younger children so it still comes out to play once in a while. I found these two wooden toys at recent yard sales.
