Changing Seasons

Yesterday was another perfect autumn day! Glorious all around. Joshua and I (mostly him) brought in the last of the garden stuff, those heavy, old cream separators. The dogs had a great time running around too and were properly worn out once we got back in the house.

I keep going to the barn to check the light as it comes through the old boards. I missed a fabulous sunset a while back and am now watching for another good one. Marty and the boys have worked hard at getting the barn lined up properly again and closed in a big hole at one end too. It looks much better.
Inside, that old hibernating instinct has kicked in and I spent a couple of days cleaning and tidying every room of the house! Along the way I noticed a picture somewhere of what someone did to keep track of their letter tiles. Well, I had just the right thing to do it myself and enjoyed the tedious sorting of the alphabet.

Now that things are tidy and organised, I have begun my Christmas cards and tags with a renewed energy and inspiration. I'm also ready for visitors? Are you going to be in the area?
