Back to Real Life

With the activities of the last few days behind me and much thwarted due to bizarre weather conditions, it is time to catch up on some of the more domestic activities, like cleaning.
The totally icy conditions prevented the boys and I from attending the end-of-year Christmas trade and party in Dunvegan. Fifteen brave, and highly skilled drivers did make it and a good time was had by all. So, upon returning home, disappointed and wondering what to do now, I sorted my postcards into well-organised catagories and should I need to find something, the task will be much less time consuming.

Sunday was warm and very windy. The power flickered all day but we were fortunate to not lose it completely. This morning the outdoors looks more like spring than winter! A few branches down but nothing serious.

Above is an assortment of wonderful Frozen Charlotte torsos and china heads on thier way to the Milkhouse. I've been trying to get a hold of these for almost two years now. I love the way the torsos look like ancient sculptures.

Don't forget to check out a new blog from Chantal, My Paper Heart. I met her at the shop recently and was excited to share the world of ATCs and the close proximity of our trading group to her home. Even She made it out in the nasty weather! It's a small world.

Oh these dolly partons ...I mean dolly parts look amazing Jennifer. They're making me itch to do something doll-related, that's for sure.
P.S. Happy New Year to you and your lovely family.

Ooooh, I have that tall angel too. She is precious. I keep her in the studio year round.

So, those doll parts look really amazing. Where will you be selling them?
