A little while back I was in Cornwall with Joshua. We hit the usual places for good finds and I wasn't disappointed at all. At Winners, in the clearance isle they were further reducing items already marked down. Joshua wondered what the giant lantern was for and upon further examination it began to look a lot like a wonderfully unique display cabinet. I think it's for garden decor and you would normally place pillar candles in it. Whatever. It sure makes a great spot to show and protect some of my antique dolls for sale.
My mom has had space at the Waterloo Antiques Warehouse for many years and it recently closed. She cleaned out her space and got rid of many of the items no longer needed but was very kind enough to save this small antique display case. I love it. It is on the shop counter that Marty built me and I am slowly filling it with wee treasures to share.

I remember this case. You are filling it very nicely. Love the doll carriages.
Honestly, you're just so clever and creative! I love the idea of using a lantern as a display case.
