It's hubby's birthday today. I spent much of it on the road again however, we still pulled off a nice meal . BBQ'd steak and mushrooms with sweet potatoes and green beans. For dessert a Cherry slab pie. Slab pies go a long way to satisfying a houseful of guys.
You'd think it was Christmas in the kitchen but I am just preparing for my girl's day out this week. Someone special really likes her macaroons. A little "Martha" on the left and more rustic on the right.
