A View From the Top

Last Friday found us in Ottawa at the Civic Campus Hospital for the pre-admission and thrombosis clinic visits for Marty. I hung out in the car for part of the time as I don't see the need to hang out with all those germs in hospitals if I can avoid it.
We parked at the very top of the parking garage as it always seems to be full, no mater what time you get there. It afforded a great view of Ottawa from up high. I was even joined by a Seagull finding food that must have been left by someone. How else did the crackers end up there?
It was cold a dreary but the buildings in the distance showed nicely. There are a lot of trees about the city.
Steel against brick.
Great detailing in the construction. Back in the day when building involved more than just getting it up as cheaply and as quickly as possible.

Oh, Marty's surgery is Friday Dec.11. Just day surgery but nonetheless I will be happy when he is back home again and it is behind us.

I hope Marty's surgery goes well. I'll be thinking of you. Wonderful photos BTW.
