We are enjoying another notably warm day. I've already loaded the wood box inside for the last time this year and have been taking many breaks from in the house to step out and get to raking up the yard. I have even noticed new growth in my gardens facing south. It makes my heart sing! The skies were heavily traveled yesterday as flock after flock of Geese flew over, heading back to their summer homes.I found the mirror last week at, you guessed it, Goodwill, along with the hand blown glass. Does it look familiar? In the latest issue of Romantic Homes magazine there was an article about someone living in Amsterdam, and on the first page is a photo of several glasses just like this one. You can imagine my surprise to find on sitting on the shelf at Goodwill, for $2. It is so very light and delicate. Amazing it has survived in perfect condition.
