I came across this beautiful antique traveler's soap dish with beautiful embossed violets on it. It is made of celluloid and light as a feather. Amazing it has survived so long.
This is my favourite find during our adventures. It is an old casket to hold handkerchiefs! Can you believe the detail? The silk around the lid is melting as it has a tendency to do, bu tit is still beautiful.
Even the plaster base is in good shape. .
