I spent a lovely morning yesterday, chatting and visiting with one of Aaron's fellow market artists. As it was Canada Day, there was a lot of activity down at the harbour and at one point, you could hear a lone Piper practicing for the parade.
Then there were two Pipers practicing.
Then eight Pipers practicing under a tree.
Then the whole group gathered to go over the final details. They sure brought the market to life. They should have live music every Saturday for those wandering about downtown. Made me homesick for where we used to live. The parade would go right past our house and folks from all over would line the streets to watch. You can catch a glimpse of a great small town parade on Ronna's blog. I hope you had a great Canada Day and for those American readers, Happy fourth of July weekend!!
