While at the cottage recently we took in the
Perth Autumn Studio Tour, again. We've been attending it for many years now. It's a great way to take in the fall colours and enjoy the winding back roads around Christie Lake. Here is one of my favourite artisans.
Scott Dobson is a fence builder. He creates split rail fencing the way it used to be created many years ago. Suitable for the rocky landscape of the Perth area, he's an expert.

The property he was at for the tour had all kinds of neat things to look at.

Fence models.

Out in the field (literally and figuratively), building fences, you come across all kinds of interesting natural elements.

I enjoyed looking at his collection as much as any of the the other art on the tour.
