Congrats! That is one beautiful 'bird' tree...the birds will be very happy I'm sure. You new home looks fabulous. I wish you a speedy sell for your home here, it's so beautiful.

wow cool tree! As far as landscaping I would get a local nursery to suggest native plants that don't require much work.
The tree is much bigger than I realized. I see what you mean about the roots - maybe just some bark mulch?
