Every morning, when I take the dogs out, before the sun has cleared the winter sky of its grey nighttime blanket, I am fascinated by the swirls and patches left on the barn roof.
Every snowfall, or light dusting leaves unique marks all whipped about by the wind and weather.
An odd fascination, perhaps, but each day it is a surprise to see what nature has done while I was asleep.
