After The Snow

I apologize if you are tired of seeing snow pictures from up here in Canada. However, it is winter and we have a daily love hate relationship with the white stuff. It's cold, messy sometimes, and always beautiful if you take a moment to just look at it in all its frigid beauty.
Before the sun came up, I was clearing off the front porch and back entry.
As things started to brighten, the sun cast lovely low shadows across the yard.
Yup, snowed in. Not sure how Marty will fare getting in the driveway. No, I will not be shoveling this by hand.

We are well-stocked with food, for the birds, the dogs and me too. The wood box inside is full and the wood stove is doing its job. No need to go anywhere. I think I will go make some hot cocoa now.
