Feeding the Birds

These last few cold, snowy days have seen a lot of action at the feeders. Chickadees galore, Goldfinch, Mourning Doves, Cardinals.
These little guys, Redpoll I think, eat on the ground. .
They seem to reach some kind of critical mass and then they all take off, only to return again to feed some more.

Skittish little guys.
