I love antique lace. I cannot fathom the time and patience required t make it. I came across these patterns on-line and was struck by the wonderful texture they have. Someone painstakingly poked holes in each strip of cardboard. There is even a little sample of what one of the patterns makes.
I love the fact that whatever was handy, was put to use. Wouldn't you love to see the complete label on this box?Well, I have no plans to make lace anytime soon, however I think these strips will add some wonderful detail and interest to a future project.
