I was admiring the wispy clouds and noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Can you see it up in the left corner?
I walked backwards and saw something I've never seen before. A rainbow around the sun. A full half circle! I couldn't zoom enough to get a good clear photo but standing there it was quite clear. Amazing. and, as usual, after a few moments, it was gone.Have a good day!

I think those halos around the sun are called "sun dogs", but I could be wrong. Anyway, they are a rare sight. Lucky you to have seen one. Did you make a wish?
