Spring In The Country

It's rainy and gray today. Everything is waking up in the gardens.

Life in the country always includes plaid work coats.
And work boots.
Swallows are very hard to capture in the air. They fly and swoop all about, putting on quite the show. Then they all settle on the barn roof and chatter on and on.
The robin built its nest in the same spot again this year. South-facing and all tucked in from the wind. Pretty good choice.
