Autumn sunrise

 I've got myself a sweet little head cold and as I didn't get much sleep last night, I was up early and out the door with the dogs as the sun came up.  Not that early really, as you know the sun comes up later now.

 Anyway, it was nice to be out in the cool air and watch the shadows come to life with the ever -widening light.

                                I came across this wee nest on my way back to the house.

                        Inside where it is warm and cozy, there was fresh apple crisp waiting.
