Birds of a Feather

You never know what you will happen upon when you go outside in the morning.  Last week I found the large feather on the left, just laying in the yard.  It's a wild turkey feather.

The other two feathers were found in the barn.  I looked them up on-line and found that they are likely Sharp-shinned hawk feathers.  I have seen the little guy around in the past. It apparently took care of the pair of pigeons roosting in the barn, leaving behind evidence of its presence.

I hope that everyone is enjoying this wonderful autumn weather.
