You never know what you will happen upon when you go outside in the morning. Last week I found the large feather on the left, just laying in the yard. It's a wild turkey feather.
The other two feathers were found in the barn. I looked them up on-line and found that they are likely Sharp-shinned hawk feathers. I have seen the little guy around in the past. It apparently took care of the pair of pigeons roosting in the barn, leaving behind evidence of its presence.
I hope that everyone is enjoying this wonderful autumn weather.
