Mr UPS dropped by today with a lovely book filled to the brim with good reading and great recipes for a variety of wonderful pies, sweet and savoury. Pie*ography is another wonderful book from
Jo Packham. I have already tagged a few recipes to try. I am sure Marty would love the cherry meringue pie on page 68! Or, can you think of anything more decadent than a "chocolate maple walnut hot fudge ice cream pie?" That is on page 64.

Hanging on my kitchen wall are a couple vintage pie plates. Yard sale finds from long ago. I love this one which requires a ten cent deposit to secure its safe return to the source where it will be used again for more great pie.
This Crisco pie plate shows you where to cut for each of your six slices; generous slices at that!
