Some Old Finds, Found Again

I came across some photos I took a while ago,  but forgot to post so I am sharing them now. The nativity pieces above are soft lead and I am guessing they were blanks waiting for someone to paint them.  At just a couple inches they are perfect for a small shadowbox.

In a little bag were three pairs of gloves for a little girl. I recall the days when a pair of gloves was a necessary part of one's wardrobe, depending on the occasion. These are adorable at only five inches long.

I loved the unassuming packaging of for these cards.

Inside, brightly coloured hand painted greetings and invitations.  The little girls' skirts in the top right corner fold to make sweet little 3D place markers.

No I do not "collect" spoons but do enjoy the wonderful variety of them from all over the world.  In this lot the one from Victoria (the crown with purple glass insert) and Paris (Eiffel tower) are my faves.  Also, the little stein is very detailed.  Someday I am sure I will come up with a most creative idea of what to make with these, highlighting their great details.
Thanks for dropping by. Have a lovely weekend!

I remember wearing gloves, especially for church on Easter. Lots of gloves to admire on Downton Abbey.
