Country Living Fair: Earth Angels

Hello again. We had guests for much of the week and now I am back with the next post from our trip to the Country Living Fair.
This way to the Earth Angels and their magical realm.

On Saturday, the first person I met was Wendy Addison! What a treat. I  love her work and adore the pics of her studio in the first "Where Women Create" book, by Jo Packham.

Laurie Meseroll's Mud Cakes paintings never fail to make me smile.

There were lots of books and mags to grab should you be missing any issues!

Everyone was so friendly and great to chat with.

It was fun to catch up with Letty after meeting her last year.  She creates the most delightful mohair bears and other creatures.
Here is a sweet little purse made by Letty.

It was a thrill to me and visit with Debbee Thibault!  I have always appreciated her wonderful papier mache characters, each one infused with a story of their own. You can also see Debbee's creations on her web site.
The master of all and overseer of such a special group of women and their art, Jen O'connor.  She always manages to pull together everything in such a wonderfully inspiring and magical way.

It was fun to see the gracious Jo Packham again and enjoy her wonderful laugh. Her vision and hard work have inspired many women to follow their creative passions and turn their dreams into a reality.

Here Melody Elizabeth and Jennifer Lanne converse while one of Jennifer's paintings looks on.

Jennifer's work is full of colour and life. I could look at it all day.

Jody Battaglia's Fun Town characters. They are truly delightful!!

Valerie Weberpal's Harvest Moon creations make me smile!

Below is the gifted Nancy Wiley and her beautiful dolls and characters. She also has two books filled with pictures of her creations telling the story of Little Red riding Hood and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
The whole show was fabulous and there were so many other artists' work in the Earth Angels space. Check out Jen's web site to see it all.  It was a real treat to be able to say hello to these creative women again.
